** Job Announcement
Dan Fry posts the following information:
Services for the Blind and Vision-Impaired (SBVI), an office within the New
Hampshire Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, Division of Workforce
Innovation, New Hampshire Department of Education, is externally posting for
recruitment. This role, despite the position title or language in the
template announcement, is for a Deputy to my role as statewide Administrator
of Services for the Blind. I recognize that the salary is low, given the
wide range of responsibilities, but I can say that the cost of healthcare
benefits are significantly less than many employers, that there is no State
income tax, and that there are other attractive elements inherent in living
in New Hampshire, in particular, and New England in general. I'm looking
forward to identifying creative, innovative, forward-looking people, who may
be interested in helping me develop a strong/robust VR and other set of
blindness-specific programs, based on a progressive philosophical foundation
related to nonvisual functioning in the world. Please visit the link to the
position below, and reach out to me, if you have any questions, or if I can
be of any assistance in answering questions for you, or supporting your
application. Please post this opportunity widely on any and all listservs
that might include those looking for an administrative role-with some direct
service components-so that we can attract a solid pool of candidates. This
is a short window of opportunity; the recruitment closes, for the first
time, anyway, on 12/20/19. Please ignore the outdated driver's license
language; while there, it doesn't apply, of course. The link below should
take you to the job announcement; if you have any challenges accessing it,
please let me know:

Enjoy your weekend ahead, and please have a wonderful holiday season, in
whatever fashion that you may celebrate it.
With Kind Regards,
Daniel B Frye, JD.
