If you are planning to be at National Convention in Austin, TX; please consider helping. What is the Cane Walk? The Cane Walk is put on by the National Organization Parents of Blind Children (NOPBC). It is an opportunity for parents or family members of blind children to learn about cane travel. They will receive a teaching cane, learning shades, and a lesson with a NOMC. The Cane Walk will be during the morning of July 4, 2026 from 8:30AM-11:30AM.
