Subject: Calling All Job Readiness Trainers
Greetings Everyone,
I am writing to everyone in the hopes that through collectiveness I might solve my lack of job readiness trainers for WAGES. Over the past week I have had three job readiness trainers whom I thought were on board back out and so, now with less than three weeks to go things are heading toward desperate. I need three and possibly four job readiness trainers ASAP.
I will outline briefly what I am looking for. I should point out that at least two of the folks I am seeking must be sighted which has made it a bit tougher.
The first of these is that I have a job arranged for a student who will be working outdoors for a small business lawn service company. Since the job sites always change, I need a job readiness trainer to pick him up each morning at the dorm and provide transportation to the ever changing job sites. This person must also then spend the day with him and drive him whenever they change locations and help oversee that he stays on task. They will then drive him back to the dorm each evening.
A second is that as many of you know, we have for a long time had a job placement at Lancaster County Records. The job involves scanning in documents and turning them into digital copies. There is also part of each day spent shredding documents as well. Lancaster county has always required that someone oversee the scanning process. Therefore, this job readiness trainer must be sighted as well.
I also need someone to do some job readiness training with a student who will be working at the information desk in the capitol building.
Finally, I may need a job readiness trainer to accompany a student out to Pawnee lake each day and oversee him as he does maintenance and trash pickup.
These jobs would all be from June 3 through July 12 and many of them are near 40 hours per week.
If anyone knows of individuals who might be able to successfully fill these positions, please have them reach out to me at this email address or by phone at 402-419-4186.
Thanks to everyone for your assistance.
