FW: Looking for blind nurses
**** Posted on behalf of Jane Lansaw** Hi Ed, I tried to post this to the list but for some reason, the mailer daemon bounced it back at me. Would you mind posting it for me? Hi folks, I have clients who are CNA?s and have lost too much vision to keep working in the field. I don?t know the alternative techniques for blind nurses but I am starting to get a lot of these guys so I would like to find any blind nurses you might be able to help me contact. I have one client who is actually still working but struggling with her vision. If you know blind nurses please feel free to give them my contact information at work and send me anyone who agrees. Jane Lansaw 9183131572 jlansaw at okdrs.gov Thanks everybody, see you at convention. from the world's smallest keyboard.
Hi folks, first of all thanks to Ed for posting that message for me. I?m not sure why I couldn?t post it myself but I tend to get better results when I reply. I hear a lot of convention about medical professionals but I haven?t managed to track anything down. If you know a blind nurse, CNA, or even a paraprofessional in the medical industry, would you let me know please. If you cannot give me their information, feel free to give them my information. If you have any suggestions about where else I can look, feel free to let me know here on the list. Sometimes our vocational counselor don?t always think about the Nfb list and don?t know that blind people can perform certain jobs. When I have a client who wants to stay in what I consider a fringe profession, I always hoped to be able to track somebody down in Nfb if we have anybody at all. Much appreciation, and see you at convention. from the world's smallest keyboard.
