An North Carolina chapter president needs your help.

Dear Colleagues, I have received a request from a chapter president in NC who is close to the mayor and other city officials. They are discussing the installation of audible pedestrian signals and she needs consultative assistance to be sure that the wrong ones don't get decided upon. This young lady is newly blind within the past two years and has risen to an impressive leadership level. If there is an NOMC anywhere within the vicinity who could provide some help or even travel out there, I know she will be extremely grateful. She has a hard deadline, however, so if someone is in a position to help, even by phone, please email me off line and I will pass along her contact information. With fraternal regards, Maurice Peret, NOMCT Talent Recruiter, Human Resources Department Blind Industries & Services of Maryland 3345 Washington Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21227 Office: 410.737.2673 Mobile: 804.928.4015 mperet at bism.org<mailto:mperet at bism.org> https://www.bism.org/career [cid:image001.png at 01D14DDC.986E89E0]************************************************** ************************************************** "Ignorance and fear are but matters of the mind-and the mind is adaptable." -Daniel Kish **************************************************
