Dear Rehab professional: The Journal of Blindness Innovation and Research (JBIR) is the peer-reviewed, research journal of the National Federation of the Blind. If you are not already subscribed to JBIR, I want to encourage you to do so. If you are on this list, you are a professional in the rehab and/or O&M fields. We need your expertise in your respective field to serve as a peer reviewer to our manuscripts. Having a background in research or academic writing is helpful, but not critical. It is far more important that you have expertise in your specific subject matter and a strong philosophy about good training. In the process of signing up with JBIR, you may select to be included as an author or peer reviewer. I would encourage you to do so. If you are already subscribed, you may be able to update your profile to include yourself in our peer review process. Here is the link for those of you who may be interested. http://nfb-jbir.libraryhost.com/index.php/JBIR/user/register Thank you for your dedication to this effort. Edward C.
