Good afternoon,
As sister National Industries for the Blind agencies, we are well aware of the importance of having highly trained clinical staffs that are knowledgeable in current trends in low vision patient care. To that end, I am personally encouraging you to send your employees to the upcoming Envision Conference, September 7-10 at the Grand Hyatt in Denver. Our conference is the only centralized source of accredited low vision continuing education with a multidisciplinary focus. It is an invaluable opportunity for optometrists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation therapists, teachers of the visually impaired and vision researchers to collaborate and share knowledge to address practice gaps in current standards of care and research.
Envision Conference provides the most up-to-date information and education available to enhance low vision professionals? ability to make good clinical decisions for patients. Sessions will focus on patient safety, prevention, care management, healthcare innovations, emerging best practices and research. Participants will receive research findings, evidence-based information and tools to improve the outcomes, quality, access to, cost and utilization of health care services.
The value of the Envision Conference to your staff members is unprecedented access to information that will strengthen their overall ability to do their jobs and improve patient care. The value of their attendance to Envision Conference is just as significant. Their backgrounds, personal stories and individual perspectives will deepen conversations and possibly lead to new breakthroughs in low vision rehabilitation and research with global impact. The Envision Conference is building a community of low vision practitioners that would be incomplete without your organization?s participation.
