Job Summary:
The Development Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to Director of Development, who reports to the President/CEO.
Essential Functions:
* Handle tasks related to donors, such as creating profiles on prospective donors and current contributors
* Track philanthropic requests, pledges and contributions and assist with compiling reports on current and prospective donors to be used by the Director of Development
* Assist the Director of Development with scheduling meetings either virtual or in-person
* Coordinate with Chief Program Officer and other Directors to provide content for the ASB website and ASB social media
* Manage and update donor database, respond to queries and assist in acknowledging donor gifts, by phone and in writing
* Assist with fundraising events
* Prepare mailing materials, such as annual appeals, invitations and newsletters
* Protect agency's values by keeping information confidential
* Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in fundraising, public relations, project management, or related field or three to five years relevant experience
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
* High energy, outgoing, team player and a passion for ASB's mission is essential
* Working mastery of computer programs including: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Sales Force
* Documented experience with nonprofit marketing and social media.
