Good morning fellow Cane travel instructors, As some of you may have already heard we will be having a seminar for two sessions on Sunday on the use of wheelchairs and white canes. We are renting some wheelchairs and having them delivered to the hotel for the purpose of the seminar. Unfortunately, the Bell Captain station Will charge charge me $120 round-trip to deliver them to the convention center. That is almost the price of renting this equipment in the first place. I am looking for 3 intrepid volunteers to meet me at the Bell Captain station and help me transport one power wheelchair, one scooter, one manual chair and one walker to the convention center and back. They will get to drive the wheelchairs over to the convention center. What young travel teacher doesn?t want to play around with a power wheelchair?
