We, Dr. Sheena Manuel-Principal investigator and Sean Walsh-student, are looking for blind or visually impaired people who use braille and/or assistive technology to interview. Sean is writing an honor thesis on how blind or visually impaired people use Braille and/or Assistive Technology. We are contacting you as we believe you identify as a blind person or a person with a visual impairment. We obtained your contact information from a personal/professional contact we have in common.

After you contact us about your willingness to participate in this study, we will reach out to you to with a consent form and determine your availability for an interview. This interview is voluntary and you can withdraw from this study or the interview at any time. All interviews will be recorded using Zoom and should take about an hour to conduct. Only audio files will be used for analysis and will be deleted after the conclusion of this study which is anticipated to be in September 2021. You can access Zoom from a computer or phone once given the login information and/or phone number for the interview/meeting. If you cannot access the consent form and would like an oral reading/verbal consent or need assistance with accessing Zoom, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
