Yes, the compass on the iPhone could be used for that purpose. However, the best it offers is an extra vibration when pointed north. When holding the phone flat with one hand, use the other hand to place a finger at the center of the screen. When changing direction it will give an extra vibration when facing north. | Lerone Walker
