Topic: Structured Discovery Terminology Presented by: Joann Williams and Yadiel Sotomayor Summary: Join us for our first Structure Discovery Professionals Educational Training sessions where we will delve into essential terminology and concepts crucial for Structured Discovery. This will be a two-week training session that will be for 1 hour each covering different materials that will progressively complement each other. The seminar will explore topics including the difference between the visual and cognitive paradigms, discovery learning versus guided learning, self-efficacy what it is and how to build it, Socratic questioning, intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation, locus of control, transferability, reasons for a long white cane, and the importance of shades.
