Hello NOMCs, Hope everyone is having a great start to 2024! Is anyone thinking about summer yet? With the warmer winter here in Minnesota, it definitely feels like Spring! Anyways, I hope many of you are planning to attend our NFB National Convention in Orlando, FL. If so, please take some time to participate in our Cane Walk. It is definitely one of the highlights of my week! What is the Cane Walk? The Cane Walk is put on by the National Organization Parents of Blind Children (NOPBC). It is an opportunity for parents or family members of blind children to learn about cane travel. They will receive a teaching cane, learning shades, and a lesson with a NOMC.
