Dear NOMC, I am forwarding this request to you on behalf of Arielle Silverman. We are researchers at the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB), and we are partnering with Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) to learn more about people's experiences related to guide dog travel. We would like to interview an NOMC-trained cane travel instructor about the skills you teach, your attitudes about guide dog travel, and your experiences working with clients from diverse backgrounds. We are especially looking for someone who works with older teens or adults in their home communities. We would like to invite you to participate in an interview with a member of the research team. The interview will occur over Zoom and will last for about an hour. In appreciation of your time, you will receive a $25 gift card after the interview.
