Jane, Stanley Wineapple (not sure if I've got the right spelling) addressed the general session at our national convention several years ago. He was in charge of rehab medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY at the time. He has very likely retired from that job but the national center may have his contact information. I met a blind physician assistant at a Ski for Light event a few years ago and will see if I can find his name somewhere. Good luck. Hello, I'm looking to make contact with any blind medical doctors practicing in the US. I have a new consumer who was an MD in another country. The individual can't send e mail yet so I want to collect some resources for him to call. If you know of any blind doctors, or even nurses, please pass on my e mail address. I would like him to be able to return to his practice if he chooses and not think that the onset of blindness has to keep him from it. Many thanks, Jane Lansaw NOMC This E-mail, including any attachments, may be intended solely for the personal and confidential use of the sender and recipient(s) named above.
